Canal Saint Martin Writer's Home

Five minutes from the Canal Saint Martin and the Faubourg Saint Denis, a stylish, airy writer's home, filled with books, art, and plants. Recently renovated, furnished with a mix of modern and vintage, the flat is striking and homey at the same time.

Spacious and comfortable (65m2), flooded with light, with a beautiful view over the neighboring Haussmannian buildings and the nearby Eglise Saint Laurent, 5th floor (elevator).

The flat is composed of a large master bedroom with a queen sized bed, one bathroom, living room/dining room, and open-plan kitchen. We love to cook so our kitchen is equipped with everything you'd need to prepare your own meals at home. Our apartment is chock full of books. I'm a writer and this is my working library; you'll find everything from books about Paris (including a few helpful guidebooks) to French theory (in case you fancy reading some Deleuze by the canal) to the latest fiction and non-fiction.

The neighborhood is very central; you can walk most anywhere from here, but if you prefer to take the metro we're not far from Gare de l'Est (lines 4, 5, 7), where many buses stop as well.

End of rental cleaning fee: 75 euros.

A great place! The apartment itself is very spacious, equipped with everything you need, full of light and sky and books and a very comfortable bed. It feels like a home. Location is great, too, very central, with shopping and restaurants near at hand around the canal and Faubourg Saint Denis and easy walking to other neighborhoods nearby. And communication with Lauren couldn't have been easier. I stayed three months and was sorry to go. Excellent Jamie Phillips 4/1/2019 3:43:00 AM
