The recently renovated apartment is in an elegant, early 20th century building in a quiet area near Montparnasse Station, Place Denfort-Rocherau, Montparnasse Cemetery, Luxembourg Gardens, pedestrian streets with restaurants, bars, brasseries, fromageries, boulangeries, a poissonnerie and many markets and boutiques. Many Metro lines and buses give easy access to all of Paris, including both airports. The RER, the regional transport system is very near. The apartment is small (38 square meters), secure and on the third floor (french system). It is accessible from the building foyer by elevator or stairs. The layout includes an entry room, salon and dining area, a bedroom, and a small separate well-equipped kitchen with dish washer, clothes washer and dryer. The shower is off the bedroom and the WC is off the entry room of the apartment. Updated gas-fired radiateur heating keeps the apartment cosy and warm. French windows in the salon and bedroom face southwest and have small balconies (large enough) for a few potted plants. The apartment was renovated in the summers of 2018-2019. A refundable deposit of 1300€ is required to reserve the apartment. The monthly rent includes all utilities, linens, but excludes a 75€ cleaning charge at the end of the tenancy which is taken from the deposit, which is returned after departure.
