Sweet little home in the heart of the Latin Quarter, steps from la Sorbonne, le Panthéon, Sainte-Geneviève Library...

MY LITTLE HOME IN PARIS : ART, HISTORY AND CULTURE AT YOUR DOORSTEP

This is Paris! The Paris of Hemingway's "Moveable Feast", of Woody Allen's "Midnight in Paris" and of Scorsese's "Hugo Cabret"…
Bienvenue ‘chez vous!’ - your little home away from home, in the heart of the Latin Quarter!

This cozy quiet 2-room apartment offers 18th Century rustic charm - with all the comforts and conveniences of the 21st Century.
The eclectic decor, warm golden tones, parquet floors, fireplace, beveled mirrors, brocante furnishings, velour drapery, all create a homey atmosphere.

One easy flight of stairs takes you to your door. The flat is on the first and top floor (second floor American) of a modest 2-story building from the 1700s.

Your little home is peacefully tucked away in a cobbled courtyard, off an ancient pedestrian passageway.
Place de la Contrescarpe is your backyard; rue Mouffetard - one of the oldest streets in Paris - is your shopping and market haven.

Bienvenue dans votre quartier! Welcome to your neighbourhood : a safe, vibrant, friendly village!

YOUR HOSTS, SANDY & PHILIPPE

Bonjour! We are Sandy & Philippe, your hosts and owners of My Little Home in Paris.
We live just up the street and are available if you should need anything during your stay!

This is our one and only rental property. We manage it ourselves, from booking and communication, to cleaning the flat and greeting our guests.
It is our pleasure to provide tips on restaurants, museums, cultural events, or day trips.
We make every effort to ensure your stay is comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable!

BIENVENUE DANS VOTRE QUARTIER : WELCOME TO YOUR NEIGHBOURHOOD!

Bienvenue to ‘la Mouffe,’ as we locals call it, a true Parisian village brimming with café terraces, bakeries, grocers, fish mongers, butchers, florists, specialty food shops, bookshops, fashion boutiques, gift shops, ice-cream parlours, tea salons, restaurants, jazz clubs, cinemas, theatre, and our very own ‘Bal Musette' - French traditional accordion music, song & dance - every Sunday morning at the bottom of rue Mouffetard.

Steeped in culture and history, this vibrant intellectual hub was once home to Hemingway, Joyce, Descartes, Verlaine and Fondane.
The Romans settled here 2000 years ago : The Panthéon (Roman forum), the Cluny Museum (the thermal baths, Unicorn tapestry) , the Arènes de Lutèce (Roman arena) are testimony to Paris’ rich past.

This is the University sector - home of la Sorbonne - where local and international students, families, the young and the not so young live side by side and enjoy the quartier’s numerous bookshops, art house cinemas, cafés and jazz clubs.

You are in the centre of Paris, in the heart of the Latin Quarter, a short walk to all the major universities and libraries, including la Sorbonne, Jussieu, Pierre et Marie Curie, and la Bibliothèque Sainte Geneviève.
The Seine and Notre Dame de Paris and Luxembourg Gardens are a 10-minute stroll from your door.
The Arènes de Lutèce, the Jardin des Plantes (France's largest botanical gardens) and the Natural History Museum, the Cluny Museum, la Sorbonne and the Panthéon are all in your backyard.
The mythical rue Mouffetard (a former via Roma) is your market and shopping street, and Place de la Contrescarpe is your ‘open air living-room’.

Two metro lines (7 and 10) and several buses, within steps of the apartment, connect you easily and rapidly to all of Paris and beyond.
There is a direct line (RER B - Luxembourg Station) to CDG and Orly Airports.

We look forward to meeting you!
