Cute Studio next to historic park

Acute, renovated studio ideal for one person is available for rent in a 1930s art Deco building facing the beautiful historic parc des Buttes Chaumont (1867), in the 19th arrondissement.
The studio has been renovated last year, and has all the necessary amenities, including wif-fi, microwave oven, electric stove and fridge, vacuum cleaner.

The park is outside the front door, and it is a continous source of enjoyment, relaxation and a great place to exercize. I had a wonderful time in Francesca's lovely flat. The area is one of the most interesting in Paris, the flat was quiet and beautifully situated high up in the eves of a 6 story building. The flat was cosy and very clean when I arrived, and Francesca was always helpful and in contact via email. She made the flat special and cosy for my stay. I was there for a month and would have loved to stay longer. Many, many thanks to a wonderful host. Excellent Hayley 1/26/2016 2:11:00 AM
This ample three room apartment in the lovely renaissance town of Vicenza is well located and convenient for travel in northern Italy, even without a car. Because the apartment is in the heart of the town center, guests can easily and safely walk to the train and bus stations as well as local markets and the central piazza. Vicenza is home to many beautiful buildings of world renowned architects, and the central district in which the apartment is found is restricted to automobiles, thus making it pedestrian friendly and quiet.

The apartment has all the modern appliances in good order, as well as a kitchen fully equipped with everything needed to prepare meals in-house, if desired. The large terrace provides a comfortable outdoor living area adjacent to the kitchen with fine views and a second terrace allows guests excellent rooftop views of the historic district.

The bedroom has a comfortable queen sized bed. The apartment has good ventilation and natural light with large windows and high ceilings, although there are no mosquito screens. The heating and air conditioning work well. The bathroom has a great tub/shower combination.

Pros: strategic location in the town's historic district, plenty of room with spacious terraces, convenient to public transportation, affordable, includes wifi, household well equipped, housekeeping provided, responsive owner, quiet building, fantastic deli on ground floor, in a lovely part of northern Italy.

Cons: fourth floor walk up(could be a pro! ;)), no mosquito screens.

In summary, the apartment is highly recommended as a great place to stay when visiting the Veneto region.

My husband and I spent 2 very enjoyable weeks in this apartment which is spacious and centrally situated in this most attractive and vibrant city. The apartment is very well appointed on the 4th. floor with a balcony front and rear.Vicenza with its world-renowned architecture is worth visiting also for its variety of good food and wine and shops. It is on the main Milan - Venice train line which allows easy access to other cities such as Verona and Padua also.We visited Venice and we also had some beautiful walks to visit Monte Berico and Palladio's Rotunda on the hills over the city. Overall it was a most enjoyable experience. Excellent Cahill 5/29/2013 1:59:00 PM
We had a very nice stay here over the winter. Francesca was responsive and helpful. The apartment is on a quiet street, but very close to public transportation and a great outdoor market. Excellent mayae 1/29/2013 9:00:00 AM
We loved our stay in Vincenza in this apartment. We were high enough that it was extremely quiet for center of the city Italy.

The kitchen is functional and there is a market in the main plaza twice weekly for fresh groceries and other shopping. The plaza is perhaps 150 m. walk.

We ate many meals on the porch just off the kitchen. A photo of the view is featured in this listing.

Our favorite gelato shop after exploring several is Tutti Gelati. It is off one of the squares that connect to the plaza. Our go-to place for lunch or dinner is Osteria il Cursore.

The master bedroom has an excellent bed although we did buy some extra pillows at the market.

We usually walked from the apartment to the train station or the bus station. You can also get a cab by turning right from the front door of the apartment bldg about 100 m.

Be aware that this is a fourth floor walkup. It is about 84 steps and an additional 15 or so to the bedroom. There are landings where you can catch your breath although I got used to it in a few days.

On the building ground floor there is an excellent delicatessen. The wine selection is superb - everything from the local plonk to Amarones that are world class.

The last week in June was fairly hot. I slept okay using the fan in the bedroom but my wife used the couch in the living room with AC.

All in all, we loved our stay in Vicenza and this apartment. The location of the apartment is right in the middle of Palladio's area. It is well worth reading up on this marvelous architect before visiting so you can appreciate his worldwide influence.
