Luxury apartment located across from the park and on the canal - quiet location away from the crowds; perfect for work and study.

Recently built, large (100 square metres plus large terrace and balcony) modern apartment in Paris, 7th floor of 9-floor building with elevator, all amenities included. Apartment in perfect condition, art-filled, with a large open terrace plus a small garden balcony off the kitchen for intimate dining overlooking large interior garden; large open-air terrace off living room and library. The apartment is furnished with modern furniture - leather and glass and is therefore not child or pet friendly, but perfect for one or two adults who appreciate luxury living in Paris at an affordable price. Hardwood floors, designer area rugs, separate dining area and library area with wall bookcase. Marble bathroom and second marble guest toilet. Built-in walk-in clothes closet. Office and computing space, Wifi available. Modern kitchen, granite counters, washer-dryer area, mobile air conditioning unit but usually not needed as the insulation and cross-breeze are sufficient in the summer. The neighboruhood is calm, quiet and a perfect sport if you are looking to get some work compeleted but is close to avenues with restaurants stores, metro and bus lines . It is a 3 minute walk to new symphony hall and music conseratory, metro lines, stores, restaurants and theatres but on a calm street in a safe neighborhood, overlooking the arm of the Ourcq Canal and the Villette Park and Cite de la Musique. Underground parking space. Everything furnished, from sheets to dishes, from nuts to bolts, a real key-in-hand beautiful apartment for a short or long stay in Paris.

My husband and I have just spent a year living in this lovely apartment. We cannot recommend it highly enough. It is beautifully furnished and equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed and our landlandy even supplies shopping trollies for grocery excursions in the neighborhood. Speaking of the neighborhood, there are great little food stores (Ferme de Chloe for cheese, Boucherie Desfrennes for meats, fowl and homemade pates, Huguet Primeurs for fruit and veg, BioCBon for organic, and several chains like Monoprix, Franprix and Simply) all within a few minutes walk. The shopkeepers were friendly, helpful and tolerant of our primitive French language skills. The neighborhood is diverse culturally and the nearby (just a few blocks away) Parc de la Villette Philharmonic Hall and huge Science Museum offer continuous events. Also close is the big Buttes Chaumont park with its Eiffel designed bridge. Both the Metro and the tram are within 10 minutes walk. Our street was quiet, and we felt safe at any hour. Back to the apartment: it has lovely light and cross ventilation, a luxury in Paris apartments. The furniture is comfortable and far above the usual standard for rentals. The walk-in closet was a great convenience, and there is ample storage, even for all the things we brought to stay a year. There is original art throughout. With landscaped terraces on both sides, we enjoyed being able to be outside. The little red-trellised terrace off the kitchen was sheltered and we often enjoyed breakfast out there, even on days that would have seemed too chilly otherwise. The larger terrace was big enough for entertaining outside. This lovely apartment made our year in Paris even more enjoyable. We will miss it! Excellent Deb W 3/31/2016 8:29:00 PM
