About Me
We are a couple both a little above the sixties. I am a retired officer from the French Air Force and my wife has leanings on paintings and other cultural issues. Having a flat in Paris and a house in south-west of France., we intend to share our time between those two locations, and rent our flat in Paris while we stay in the south-west. Our apartment is very sunny, on third floor in a Hausmann type building on boulevard Malesherbes, close (15mn by foot) to Champs-Elysées and to the main shopping area in Paris (Le Printemps, Galeries Lafayette, boulevard Haussmann). At a short walking distance, you will also find two big and coloured market streets (marché Poncelet and marché de Levis). If you like to stretch your legs or even have a jogging, you can go to the Monceau garden at 5mn. You will find also many museums in the close vicinity. Our location is served by metro (line n°3 station Malesherbes or Wagram) and also by bus line 94 to gare Saint Lazare, Madeleine, Concorde, St Germain des Prés, quartier latin, and gare Montparnasse) and bus line 31 to Place de l'Etoile or gare de l'Est. We guess that it would be most convenient for a couple (with one or two teenagers) looking to spend some weeks in Paris.
