My family (husband and one-year old) rented this apartment at our arrival in Rome in 2017, expecting to stay for about six months to a year. In the end, we stayed in Rome for 18 months, in this apartment and another one owned by Giuseppe in the same building.

From the moment we arrived, Giuseppe was incredibly helpful (in fact, also before we arrived: Italian bureaucracy is cumbersome, even for the initiated, and he made everything go incredibly smoothly). The apartment itself is great, spacious, modern and clean. We always felt at home and its convenient location, specifically for those who have partners working at one of the UN institutions, made our lives much easier while in Rome.

I cannot recommend this apartment, or any of the other ones that Giuseppe owns in the same building, highly enough. The pictures do not do the apartment justice and if you are lucky enough to find it available, I would jump at the opportunity.

My family and I stayed here for the academic year, 2015-16. It was perfect for our needs. To list all the things that we loved about it would probably fill an entire page. Basically, the description and photos are accurate. The photos speak thousands of words. Clearly, it is a bright, spacious apartment with very clean and new furnishings. It was very comfortable. It was cozy for three, and also for four. The two bathrooms made a huge difference. We had four staying there over the winter holidays and early summer and it was still very comfortable. It's hard to say what we loved most -- the location so conveniently located to public transport (tram 8 is great -- never have to worry about traffic) -- the Sunday market (an experience in itself -- we walked it every weekend, usually more than once, just taking it all in), the walks in Trastevere and Testaccio, the markets within walking distance, the supermarket downstairs when we needed something really fast, the comfortable beds, the well-equipped kitchen, the wonderful shops near and around the building, and the owner himself. Giuseppe is one of the most generous and attentive landlords we'd met -- whenever we needed something, he'd get it done. We were sorry to leave Rome. We'd lived there for three years before finding this apartment and were so grateful to have landed here for our fourth and final year. I hope to come back some day soon and would love to stay here again (if it doesn't become so popular that it's entirely booked up!). Highly recommended. Excellent Melissa 7/18/2016 7:50:00 PM
Giuseppe's apartment is wonderful - bright, spacious, and in a great location. The apartment is larger than it appears in the pictures, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything one might need to live happily in Rome. My partner and I have stayed there twice, each time for a month, and look forward to returning soon. Giuseppe himself is a remarkably kind and thoughtful host, very concerned with his guests' well-being, and always responsive to any concern. We look forward to our next visit! This apartment is excellent in every way. It is roomy, pleasant, and clean, fitted out with all the modern amenities you don't always get in Roman apartments--including very efficient air conditioning--and very convenient to the Trastevere train station and numerous bus lines. It was also remarkably quiet. A good grocery store is just next door to the building, and there are various restaurants in the building itself and in its vicinity. Giuseppe is extremely nice and welcoming--and if you are a considerate and responsible tenant, he will go out of his way to be helpful and available. Excellent Rabun Taylor 2/20/2016 11:44:00 AM
Wow! Nothing about this apartment disappoints. It is spotless, comfortable, spacious, with all the amenities. Plus, it is in a super location. You are just a short walk from the Trastevere train station (a straight shot to the airport, no need for a taxi), and just a couple of blocks from the #8 tram, plus numerous other bus lines. Downstairs, on ground level is a great cafe, and two doors away is a grocery store. The kitchen has all you need, the laundry is located on the enormous back terrace, the bedrooms have the electric shades, so sleeping in is easily done. The beds are comfortable, as are the linens. Even the bathrooms are pretty and modern. I was fortunate enough to spend nine weeks here in the spring of 2014, and long to go back as soon as possible. There are just so many good things to say about this apartment, but I must include a mention about the owners. Giuseppe and his wife are the most gracious hosts. They met me upon arrival, and were always available to answer any questions. Plus, Giuseppe knows so much about Rome, including interesting bits not in the guidebooks. He is passionate about his city and loves sharing his knowledge. Excellent Barbara 2/18/2016 6:00:00 PM
