Our charming, classic San Francisco flat, located between the Mission and Castro districts, is within easy walking distance to Dolores Park, the fantastic Bi-Rite Market and Creamery, Tartine, the quintessential Castro theater, the Roxie theater, Le Marais Parisian bakery and shopping in the Castro and on Valencia Street. There are so many fabulous local restaurants that you could eat at a different one every night and still not get to all of them! There are numerous grocery stores within walking distance, including Safeway, Molly Stone, and Whole Foods. Only two blocks away, every Wednesday from mid-March through mid-December, there is a farmer’s market with tasty local fruits, vegetables and other delights.
Location, location, location: the apartment is located in one of the best areas to explore all that the city offers because it is situated at a hub for great transportation. We are just steps away from the F-Streetcar and J-Church Muni line, a few blocks from either the Church Street or Castro Street Muni stations, and an easy walk to BART to easily get around the Bay Area. Our home is on the second floor of a two-unit building and there is plenty of light. Double pane windows ensure that the apartment is very quiet. The apartment has many classic features such as hardwood floors, ceiling medallions, antiques and folk art throughout. There is a laundry with high-efficiency washer and dryer and a generous utility allowance is included. We also provide Wi-Fi, television with digital access, a Roku box, and DVD player. The office has ample desk space and complete with laser printer/scanner/copier and free long-distance calls throughout the U.S.
The remodeled gourmet kitchen has stainless steel appliances and a convenient center island with plentiful soapstone countertop space. Between us, we love to cook and bake and every possible gadget is available for your cooking pleasure. One bedroom has a king-size bed and the second has a queen bed. The living room includes a full couch and love seat and working fireplace. Both bathrooms have been completely remodeled and include a full bathroom with a bathtub, shower, sink and toilet and a second bathroom with toilet and sink.
You are welcome to use the deck overlooking the ornamental garden to sit in the sun and to barbeque on the Weber gas grill.
Our guests really appreciate that the apartment is spotless on arrival and that housecleaning services are provided every other week thereafter at no extra charge. Sorry, no pets or smoking.
A car is not necessary, but if you require one, garage parking is available at an additional cost. Ask if you are interested.
