About Me
I am the director of the UCSB Multicultural Center and have been in this position for 27 years. My husband, Scott Marcus, is a Ethnomusicology professor in the Department of music at UCSB. I am originally form Sri Lanka and my husband is from New York. We have two sons who are in college. My husband and sons are musicians and they play Middle Eastern and Indian Music. My husband has a performance ensemble at UCSB. We have travelled extensively and usually sublet our house in the summer. We have done an extensive remodel of the house and this is the first time we will be sub letting. We have lived in Cairo Egypt and Varanasi India.
