Airy 3BR townhome with offices and easy access to UW

Airy 3-bedroom, 2.5 bath townhouse to rent in Mt. Baker neighborhood. This clean, modern, fully furnished 1,500 square foot home is available between Thanksgiving and the beginning of March 2021 (3+ months) and is ideal for families working and learning from home. The house is set back from the street and has lots of privacy.

The front entrance with security screen door leads to the ground floor bedroom which has a very comfortable queen-sized fold-out couch, and doubles as a home office. The main floor features a half bath; dining room; living room with library, TV, and fireplace; and a central kitchen with high quality appliances, cookware, and cutlery. If you like to cook, this kitchen is a treat. The top floor features a second bedroom with a full bed and office space; an adjoining bathroom with shower/tub, a laundry closet with new high-efficiency machines; and the master bedroom with a queen bed, double closet, and master bath. The house has east, south, and west facing windows and gets lots of light.

The house is walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, and neighborhood businesses. Columbia City business district is one mile away and the Mt. Baker light rail station is a 6-minute walk where Link trains go to the airport, downtown, Capitol Hill, and the University of Washington. The neighborhood has lots of parks and green space, a playground, and is walking distance to Lake Washington. Parking is on the street (permit is included).

Rent includes all utilities and wifi. The house does not have cable but you can connect your own streaming device to the TV. All rooms in the house have split mini ductless heating. Also included is a professional, bi-weekly cleaning service if you desire.

We are relocating temporarily to be with family and are leaving our house almost exactly as it is when we lived in it. The house is not childproofed and is not a good space for kids under the age of 6. Dogs are negotiable. No parties, no smoking.
