This is a very comfortable and calm furnished unit situated right between Porter Square, Union Square, and Davis Square. It is less than a mile from each but still about 12 to 15 minute walk from all three. Bus stop is 30 seconds away on corner of Highland Ave, hubway bluebikes a block away--you can walk or bike most everywhere. It’s on a pretty tree-lined street, just off of Highland Avenue. You can walk 5 minutes to Three Little Figs Bakery & Cafe – best cappuccino – as well as a couple of neighborhood pubs with very good eats such as Highland Kitchen. I lived in this second floor unit for the first five years I had the house so it is a personal and loved space with some of my things still in it, however it is very pared down since I moved upstairs to the 3rd floor, which gives it a peaceful, spare feeling. One of the bedrooms has a queen bed, the other a full size. There is a living room and an eat-in kitchen with a large pantry. One bathroom with tub and shower. Shared laundry in the back hall. Shared utilities split three ways between me and whoever rents the two 2nd floor bedrooms. I have my own bathroom and kitchenette on the 3rd floor so I hardly ever use the 2nd floor--you basically have your own place. Home sweet home!
