About Me
I am an Armenian American writer, artist, and anthropologist and have lived and worked all over the world. I am on faculty at University of Vermont's College of Medicine nominally but am earning my living through my creative work. My books include, "Aliceheimer's" a graphic memoir about my mother Alice and dementia, and "Like Water on Stone" a verse novel about the Armenian and "I Am a Bird" a picture book that celebrates nature, language, and love. My most recent art installation View form the High Ground focuses on the dehumanization at the root of genocide.
