Airy studio apartment in one of London's most delightful and prestigious streets
This light, sunny and airy high-ceilinged studio-apartment has a huge window and lovely long view over the mews. It is exceptionally quiet and peaceful. Situated on the second floor of a handsome stucco-fronted house on tree-lined Queen's Gate, the flat is just a stone's throw from Imperial College. The nearest Tube station, just moments away, is Gloucester Road. At the top of the street is Kensington Gardens, one of London's most glorious parks. At the bottom, you will find the V & A and the Natural History and Science Museums and, a little further, South Kensington Tube Station. Knightsbridge is a short walk away. The flat is extremely quiet and private. The window (which can be opened) has wooden shutters as well as gorgeous curtains. The kitchenette is hidden behind doors, with a fridge, an oven, two hobs, a toaster, a microwave and ample equipment for simple cooking. The room has a very comfy double bed (old brass bedstead), a large table with lamp and a good chair for working. There is a lovely chaise longue and a comfortable armchair. I supply plenty of high quality bed linen. The bathroom (shower in bath tub) is small and the loo is beyond it, in a separate room, with a washing machine. The building has a full-time caretaker.
