Perfect South Yarra location, as new apartment in quiet residential street

My home was totally rebuilt recently from an old stables built in 1888 to provide clean, light and bright apartment-style living suitable for a couple with an additional guest room with ensuite bathroom. A recent tenant wrote "Roger's apartment is in a perfect location, an easy 30 mins walk to Federation Square, through the beautiful Botanic Gardens. Alternatively you can jump on the tram and take a 15 min ride." The tram can take you to Melbourne University and RMIT University.

The upper level has a large double bedroom with walk-in wardrobe, adjacent bathroom with shower and large loft or study with windows looking down the street through the tree tops. Downstairs there is a living room, guest bedroom (fold-out double sofa bed) flat panel TV and ensuite bathroom with shower and kitchen/ dining area opening to a small courtyard where you can also park your car if required. A residential car parking permit is provided and it may be possible to arrange the use of my VW Jetta in and around Melbourne but only on sealed roads. We are situated a 5 min walk from Domain Corner with it's many cafes, restaurants, organic bakery, food store and all-hours convenience store.

Within walking distance is the Alfred Hospital (15 mins across Fawkner Park), Australian Open Tennis (26 mins via Botanic Gardens and park lands), (National Gallery of Victoria Intl 25 mins via park land), NGV Ian Potter (34 mins via park land), Melbourne Cricket Ground (26 mins via park land).
By tram RMIT University is 25 mins and Melbourne University is 32 mins. All journey times verified by Google Maps.
There is a choice of either a direct tram (38 mins) or a direct train (express 25 mins) to Monash University, Caulfield campus.
