Three storey semi detached home in Toronto's lovely south west end. Our home is a large two bedroom plus third floor office, bathroom on main floor and second. We enjoy a leafy backyard and sitting out on front porch. Ideal for writer, composer, musician: three year old Heintzman upright piano on main floor and new Yamaha keyboard, xylophone and drum kit with 3rd floor office. We treasure our lovely neighbours and a quiet basement tenant with whom we share a back entrance. Our home is not a cool, sleek hotel/condo but a well loved, warm and inviting family home.
Our neighbourhood High Park/Parkdale has been ranked as one of Toronto Life Magazine's "The Best Places to live in the City" (see links below). Located steps away from trendy Queen street West, local gyms, yoga studios, bistros, cafés, restaurants, pubs, bakeries, fruit stores, specialty cheese shops, butcher shops and the retro Revue Cinema.
Enjoy a ten minute walk to High Park, Toronto’s largest park and hub for outdoor activities, including numerous playgrounds, ponds, running/hiking/walking trails, a children’s zoo, swimming pool, children’s wading pools, leash free dog areas, baseball/soccer/football fields, and restaurant.Just a short walk south from High Park leads you to the Lakeshore where you can ride along the waterfront Martin Goodman running and biking trail, Sunnyside Beach and its volleyball courts, restaurant, and swimming pool. The Humber River is also close by for canoe and kayaking.
Transportation - 20 mins to central Downtown via streetcar or subway (Dundas West station). Two bicycles available for use.

We are one streetcar away from Dundas West Subway stations and UP Express Dundas station. Also Queen West and King streetcars are 2-4 mins. walk away that take you into the heart of downtown shopping and work centre, (Yonge & Bay streets).

From Pearson International Airport. 20 minute trip using Up Express, once landed exit at the second station, Dundas Station, from there take one streetcar southbound which stops right at our street and we are a 2 minute walk.
To/From Union station- 30 minutes to downtown using streetcar and the UPS express train or take leisurely King streetcar.
Driving: Marion street is less than a five minute drive from the Lakeshore and Gardiner Expressway/QEW, a highway running across the downtown core of Toronto.
Grocery Stores: The closest large grocery stores are 5 min. drive: Loblaws, No Frills, and FRESHCO. We tend to shop along Roncesvalles at local produce and butcher and baker.
Bistros and Coffee Shops: Award winning Barque Smoke House, Cinco for authentic Mexican, Pizzaria Delfina, La Cubano, Keto friendly The Simple Kitchen, best coffee and croissants in town at Cherry Bomb, Starbucks.
