Century home in Toronto's Leslieville neighbourhood
Our Victorian semi-detached home sits on a quiet cul de sac in family-friendly Leslieville, with nearby parks, libraries, community centres and schools. Around the corner on Queen St. are butcher shops, a fishmonger, grocery stores and all the coffee shops, restaurants and bakeries you could wish for. It's a short walk to Toronto's historic Distillery district with its art galleries, shops and restaurants. Access to the 56-km Martin Goodman Trail is steps away, and a few steps more takes you to a new YMCA athletic complex and pool.
The house has three bedrooms plus an attic office space, high ceilings, hardwood floors, original moldings and stained glass windows. Downstairs, a cozy fireplace lends extra warmth to the dining and living rooms on cold winter evenings. The large kitchen has ample counter space, and new French doors open onto a stone patio. The sparrows love our deciduous shrub garden, as do a pair of cardinals who visit regularly.
Utilities, internet, cable TV, and entertainment system included.
