Fantastic 1 bedroom apartment—super convenient central Sydney area

Modern and very comfortable 1 bedroom apartment in a sought after area of central Sydney.

Good quality queen size bed, a light living room and a study nook. An enclosed balcony facing a back alley. A clean, comfortable bathroom. Dishwasher, new smart TV with Netflix, new-ish washing machine, iron/ironing board, rice cooker, built-in wardrobe and cupboards with plenty of space. If you’d like, a high-quality self-inflatable air mattress is available for a child or an occasional visitor. The apartment is in a secure, modern and well-maintained building. One bicycle available for use.

Literally minutes walk to Broadway Shopping Centre (a very popular shopping mall with multiple supermarkets, cinema, stylish food court, fashion retail etc), cafes, restaurants, neighbourhood bars, corner stores; less than 10 minutes walk to a public swimming pool and a gym in Victoria Park, a fantastic gallery of contemporary Chinese art, a science museum etc; Easy walk to popular areas like Glebe, Redfern, Chinatown (Paddy's Market, Market City mall, late night eateries etc). Newtown is a 5 mins bus ride. A lot of public transport options within very easy walking distance.

5 mins walk to Notre Dame and UTS, 10 mins walk to the University of Sydney. UNSW is a bus ride away.

Hi, I'm an academic who is a long-term resident of Sydney and rents out my apartment while I'm away. I live in a fantastic area of the city--very central, a great vibe, and within walking distance to numerous cafes and restaurants, Chinatown, UTS, University of Sydney, Notre Dame, cinemas, large shopping malls with everything you need and late opening hours. I stayed a month at Kumiko's place and it was a great experience. The flat is clean, bright and very conveniently located (within walking distance to UTS and the University of Sydney and with good bus connections to UNSW). Kumiko was the most approachable person we contacted in Sydney, positive in all her communications with us, open and friendly. Her comfortable and well-appointed apartment in Chippendale was perfect for us, a wonderful summer two month sojourn before we found our own place. She provided us with a lot of information, how to go about many things in Sydney. Everyone needs to feel a transaction is secure. She made it easy to do the business. Kumiko is highly recommended as a host. The best *****.

Kumiko is a wonderful host, and her apartment is clean, spacious, bright, and so conveniently located! It is less than 10 minutes to the University of Sydney and beautiful Victoria Park, and close to great restaurants, coffee shops and bars (but it is also quiet in evenings). The sun room is great for sitting in the morning and drinking coffee, as well as doing yoga. The apartment has absolutely everything you need, and is very clean and comfortable. Kumiko is really accommodating and helpful to her tenants - she was always in great communication, despite being far away, and was really helpful and easy to work with when I needed to amend my end date at the last minute.
