Great Townhouse Available in Kits Starting December 5

The House
This is a minimum 3 month rental, or yearly at 4500. OR you can rent month to month for an additional 500/month. The townhouse comes fully furnished, including towels, so you don't need to bring anything except your own toothbrush ??

It's a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom house, with plenty of space and privacy for everyone you bring along. It has an amazing balcony with views to the north shore mountains of Vancouver and the house has unlimited SUPER fast (1000mbps!) internet, which is so important for working from home. After a hiker or work, sit by the cozy fireplace.

This house has an international, warm and friendly flair, but it does have one rule: "No street shoes inside the house" to keep it clean and pretty. Also, this is non-smoking house, thanks for not burning any incense either :)

Located at Cypress Street and 5th, just off couple blocks from Kitsilano Beach, as well a 1 minute walk to the bus station. Cypress Street is a traffic reduced bicycle street, so the house is super central, but also very quiet. The place features vintage looking finishes including hardwood floors and fresh paint throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped has a brand new fridge, oven, gas stove, new Nespresso coffee maker, garbarator, microwave and you are welcome to use all the pots/pans etc. to cook your meals. Free laundry (washer and dryer) conveniently on second floor of the townhouse.

The three Bedrooms
All three bedrooms are super bright and quiet with one closet and big windows for lots of natural light. The rooms are completely furnished including 2 King beds with sheets and towels. The other bedroom has one Queen size bed. There are built-in closet and additional hooks. Each room also has it's own office desk.

The Neighborhood
Kits is a vibrant community-minded neighborhood with great restaurants, coffee houses, bars, yoga studios and unique store fronts, Best of all: people like the access to Kits beach with plenty of volleyball fields, tennis courts and the famous 137m long salt water pool. Kits is located within a very short bus/bicycle commute to downtown.

Me
Originally from Germany. Often traveling, professional, working as Professor at SFU. I'm into yoga, and lead an active life (trail running, skiing, tennis etc.). Friendly, sociable and easy going, I keep things tidy and enjoy a clean quiet comfortable home. I also enjoy swimming, soccer, hiking, travelling, camping. I'm in love with the outdoors! The house doesn't have a TV. I am Professor at Simon Fraser University and starting December, I will be working from Europe.

The house doesn't have a TV. I am Professor at Simon Fraser University and starting December, I will be working from Europe, in Germany and at London School of Economics. Hendrik's main research is in environmental economics, working at the intersection of transportation, air pollution, energy and health. This includes the economic causes and consequences of air pollution; the ”value of time;” the impact of energy conservation policies on electricity consumption; cost benefit analysis of the clean air act and its effects on health; the interactions between climate, local prices, wages and “quality of life; and the economics of Daylight Saving Time. Hendrik also developed new econometric estimators for large supply and demand systems that are used in agriculture and energy. He has conducted research projects in Ecuador, Germany, Mexico, Australia, Bangladesh, Ghana, England, Chile and the United States.
