Vancouver Seawall 2 Bedroom Condo by Granville Island and Kitsilano

Our fully furnished condo is in a beautiful central location in Vancouver with a view of the downtown and Falsecreek. Situated on the seawall with a northwest view it is bright and in the summer months receives refreshing breezes from the Harbour. Granville Island, Kitsilano beach, downtown and Stanley Park are easily accessible by walking or biking. UBC, SFU, Emily Carr, Vancouver General Hospital, etc are readily accessed by busses, Skytrain, RAV line, and bike lanes. The condo has tile and hardwood floors, Bosch appliances, washer and dryer, and an outdoor barbeque. We have an open floor plan with a large kitchen and breakfast bar. The master bedroom is spacious with a walk through closet and an ensuite bathroom with bathtub and shower. The second bedroom has a double wall bed to allow for this room to be multi-purpose. Across the hallway is the main bathroom with walk in shower. The master bedroom, second bedroom and living room all have doors opening to the outdoor patio. On the patio we have plants, an outdoor table with 4 chairs and the BBQ. The Harbourcove complex has resort like amenities with a 25 m indoor lap pool, sauna, whirlpool, squash and raquetball courts, library, extensive gardens, and afully equipped exercise room with free weights, weight machines and 6 aerobic machines. AVAILABLE: July, August, and September for $3,400/month. (includes: one covered parking spot, utilities, cable, wifi, towels, linens, dishes, etc). A refundable $500 damage deposit is required. About Me
I am a retired high school Social Studies teacher and my husband is a retired high school counsellor. During the Fall, Winter and Spring we are involved with the daycare of our grandson, however, we usually get away for an overseas trip once or twice a year. We rent our condo during the summer months as we move to our cabin on Christina Lake in the West Kootenay.

I stayed in this condo for 3 months in 2013 along with my wife and 3 year old daughter whilst on sabbatical and couldn't have picked a better place to be located in Vancouver. The condo is spacious and in immaculate condition - very well equipped with modern appliances. Above all it was comfortable, homely and a joy to live it. The view was spectacular, especially at night time.

The building has great facilities including a private indoor heated pool which is very well maintained; a gym with cardio machines & free weights which never gets too busy; and the library has a great selection of books and has desks to work from at anytime.

The owners were fantastic to us and we couldn't have wished for better hosts. They provided children's toys, linen, beach toys & towels etc. and even gave us a tour around Vancouver on arrival.

The condo is conveniently located to downtown Vancouver, universities and Granville Island. It's a 20-25 min bus ride to UBC, and approximately 50 mins to Simon Fraser University.

For children there are lots of parks and playgrounds within 5-10 min walk such as False Creek Community Centre which hosts summer camps & activity. Kits pool is 10-15 min walk.
