Updated, All-Inclusive, Recently Furnished Chevy Chase DC Townhouse near shops, restaurants, and bookstore

This updated semi-attached 1930's brick townhouse, with utilities, tv, internet, yard work, and house cleaning included in the rent, is a 5-minute drive from the University of the District of Columbia (20-minute walk), a 5-minute drive from American University (35-minute walk), a 15-minute drive from Georgetown University, and a 15-minute drive from the National Institutes of Health. The house is right by the L1 and L2 buses (to downtown DC and the George Washington University) and the M4 bus (across town, including American University). It sits in a quiet, safe, friendly neighborhood, a 10-minute walk from Rock Creek Park and a 15 minute walk from the Lafayette Recreation Center. The house is a 7-minute walk from the much-heralded Politics and Prose Bookstore, as well as from a number of shops and restaurants. It is a 20-minute walk from three larger neighborhoods with metro stops--Tenleytown (with Whole Foods and Trader Joe's), the bustling shopping mecca of Friendship Heights (including a Bloomingdale's), as well as the Van Ness neighborhood, which has a number of boutique shops and restaurants.
The house has all new furniture as well as new HVAC; the main floor rooms consist of a good-sized living room, a dining room, a recently renovated kitchen (the appliances are older), a sun room, and a back deck (recently painted), as well as a half bath. The upstairs has two bedrooms and one study, as well as two small full baths (one has a shower, the other has a tub). Both furnished bedrooms have new queen-size mattresses. The finished basement is carpeted and unfurnished; it has a washer/dryer and a half bath, as well as access to the garage.

About Me
I am a retired professor of early modern English and Comparative literatures at the College of Wooster, and am continuing research on writings by and about Catherine of Aragon; my husband is a professor at the College of Wooster, teaching medieval literature, medievalism, and film while continuing his research on Chaucer, medievalism, and medieval materialities. We are slowly moving back to my hometown of Washington DC, where we will permanently move in about three years. In the meantime, we are renting it out for three weeks to six months at a time whenever we are not occupying the house.
