Lovely summer house rental--Chevy Chase, Washington, DC

Summer House Rental – Chevy Chase, DC

IMPORTANT NOTE: This property will be available beginning June 2021

In the years since we have offered our home as a summer rental in upper northwest Washington, DC, academic researchers, government workers on sabbatical—and a cookbook author—have made it their summer haven in Chevy Chase, DC.
In addition, house-hunting families needing long-term accommodation while they search, as well as vacationers spending the summer with DC-area friends and relatives, have loved our quiet, tree-lined and kid-friendly neighborhood.

Mid-June through mid-September (minimum two month rental preferred)
--Chevy Chase DC--great neighborhood, just off Chevy Chase Circle, linking Northwest DC and Bethesda, md..
--Lafayette School Park, with gardens and playground, just a half block away, literally across the street.
--Large public swimming pool minutes away by car in Bethesda.
--10-minute walk to Metro; one stop to Bethesda, 20 minutes to downtown.
--Beautiful restored cottage and front garden—a two bedroom, 1& 1/2 bathroom haven that is easily accessible to downtown Washington by nearby Metro. Modern kitchen, huge dining room. Tree-canopied deck overlooks backyard, that includes custom-designed charcoal grill for relaxed summertime dining. Fully furnished, including linens. (nb: upstairs office can accommodate mattress--that we can provide--to effectively create a third bedroom.)
--Chevy Chase, DC is a quiet neighborhood featuring restaurants, shopping--even its own restored 1920’s movie theater--all within walking distance of the house.
--On-street parking is always available.
--Artist studio in rear is not part of rental and is closed for the summer.

Two-month minimum rental is preferred, though we will consider shorter times on a case-by case basis; $3,200 per month, plus electricity, and $50 weekly cleaning service.

Call 202-362-8103 or e-mail GVR@GVRphoto.com for address and portfolio of interior/exterior photographs.

Come see this gorgeous property in a quiet neighborhood that is minutes from downtown, by car or metro.
