Accepting tenants for the Academic year or longer. We are looking for a family or mature professional individuals who are incredibly responsible, clean, and who will love and care for our home as though it was your own.
The house is a big old 1800's farm house that has been completely re-done, renovated, solar panels, high tech insulation, new kitchen (not show in photos yet.) The 4 bdrm house sits on 5 acres on the Haydenville/West Whately border. Lovely gardens, fruit trees, a screened in porch, Open kitchen/living room, and a tennis court. It’s an 8min drive from Florence and a 13 min drive to Smith College in Northampton. It’s a 10 min drive to The Co-op and a 20 min drive to Umass. The photos here don’t do it justice, as most of them were before some of the recent renovations and not well furnished.
Downstairs you will walk in to an open concept kitchen living/dining room with a wood stove. It's the best room in the house and is very conducive to cooking and hanging with friends and family at the same time. The kitchen has all new cabinets, and a gorgeous ceramic farm sink. There are up to date appliances, along with a dishwasher and a washer and dryer.
There are 2 bedrooms downstairs OR as we have used it (a play room and a TV/den room). Upstairs there are two more bedrooms and an open walk-through office and lofted sitting or yoga space. There is a downstairs bathroom with a shower and a washer and dryer, and an upstairs bathroom with a shower and tub.

Utilities are not included. You pay for
Heat- Last year we spent around $200 a month on oil heat during the winter months. We also used wood for the wood stove.
Internet is $50
Electric depends on your use...
Snow Plowing also an additional fee which you can arrange with our plow guy or anyone of your choosing.

Also on the property is a beautiful barn with an insulated wood shop // art studio on it. (the main part of the barn is available for extra storage however the studio is negotiable)
