For One, Summer '24: Large, Lovely Furnished Room, Private Garden: Julia I

We seek one scholar or other visitor for our spacious and private front room this summer. Your sunny room is the largest in our house at approximately 13 x 16 feet. It is right next to a garden, which you can view from the three biggest of its five windows. It has a coffered ceiling, an arched doorway, a tiled non-working fireplace surround, queen bed, desk, fridge, drawers and closet space for your clothes, linens, plenty of heat, plenty of light, and high-speed Internet. Two other people live in the house and share the main bath, but those rooms are at the back of the house and your room is at the front, for privacy. You share one full bath with tub, shower, and good water pressure. There is another bathroom, just in case. You also have access to a great kitchen, laundry, reading room, backyard, and two patios, as well as your own garden with deck. This house is in a friendly, quiet neighborhood with an astonishing array of amenities. A security deposit is required. Timely cleaning up after oneself is required. Sorry, no pets. Each room is for one non-smoking human only. Strongly prefer a full time worker or scholar. Visitors to the Bay Area are welcome. There is reliable on-street parking next to the house. Nearby are BART and buses. We are one BART stop from campus, and it takes me about seven minutes between campus and here by bike.
