Spacious Mid-Century Modern House to share

We are in a woodsy neighborhood minutes from the C&O Canal and the Potomac River, yet 3.4 miles from American University, 5.2 miles from Georgetown University, and 5 miles from NIH. The home has been de-cluttered and refreshed for a probable Spring sale and is lightly furnished. Our original family home, my brothers and I own it and I live here. I would enjoy some company and help with expenses. It's the master bedroom that is for rent, on the second floor, where living room, dining room and kitchen are. I live on the first floor. Kitchen and dining room to be shared.

About Me
I am an independent contractor providing therapeutic movement services at a Wellness Center in NW Washington DC specializing in Physical Therapy, the GYROTONIC® Method of Exercise, Pilates, Yoga, Acupuncture and Massage. I am on the Board of Directors of ISMETA, the International Somatic Movement & Therapy Association, which, in addition to supporting practitioners, collaborates with researchers in the Mind/Body and now called Somatics field. I volunteered at the NIH Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine in the 1990's, because I was interested to support scientific research so that viable health alternatives could be offered through what is now referred to as the speciality of Integrative Medicine. And to influence the approach to health in this country from a more wholistic point of view.
