Seeking New Orleans homebase for 3-week musical sabbatical

I am an IT professional and part-time musician leading a 1920s-30s traditional jazz combo, RedHotBux, in Columbus, Ohio. I am seeking a living arrangement for a 3-week musical sabbatical in New Orleans so I can meet, interview, work with, and learn from musicians in the Crescent City's lively trad jazz scene.

Looking for an in-kind arrangement; I can provide pet care and lawn care/landscaping. I am mature (early 50s) but a fit and healthy outdoorsman and not afraid to exchange sweat for lodging.
