Art-loving, cat-loving retired gentleman seeks London haven

I am a retired civil servant. I worked in education policy for most of my career (but please don't hold that against me!). Covid-19 ended my supplementary work, training adults in professional writing and communications skills. So I'm looking for a less expensive base for a while (I currently rent privately in Balham) Pre-Covid I was a keen traveller, visiting Peru, Bolivia, India, Italy and Berlin last year. I regularly spend time in the West Country, and Scotland and Hampshire where I have family. I spend much of time indulging my twin passions for art and music. I'm a long-standing Tate member and Friend of the Royal Academy and I attend weekly art classes. I produce a weekly music podcast (quietly, headphones on!) My preference is for a place in South London if possible, but happy to consider anywhere in the capital. I've lived NSEW in my time! I'm happy with sharing, or a studio. Friends will attest I am spectacularly neat and tidy. My current and previous landladies would assure you of my record as a model tenant.
