A couple of Polish artist/curators in search of a shelter in LA or OC in March 2021

We are two independent artist/curators from Warsaw, Poland (where we run an experimental art space)facing an unexpected monthlong stay in Los Angeles area. We seek a small house, a guest house, an apartment, even studio with one bed, for the month of March.
Apart from the modest rent we can offer for exchange (now or in the future) our space in Warsaw which is in the city center close to the river and University Library in the bohemian district of Powisle. Areas of interest and research: American Avant-garde, Black Mountain College, Fluxus, experimental architecture, creating a nomadic Museum of Utopia

About
Joanna Klass is a curator and theater producer/instigator who creates dialogue and international exchanges in the performing arts. She currently directs Warsaw Bauhaus Foundation, a non-profit organization facilitating exchanges between Polish and international artists. Until 2019, she worked as a senior expert in performing arts programs at the Adam Mickiewicz Institute in Warsaw. There, among other projects, she spearheaded collaborations between Polish and US playwrights as an editor of (A)pollonia: 21st-century Polish Drama and Texts for the Stage (2014) and curated the 2015 Digital Play Festival. She has partnered with a wide variety of American arts organizations for her projects, including The Public Theater, California Institute of the Arts, Under the Radar Festival, The Kennedy Center, among others. She served as Director of the Grotowski Year, part of the international UNESCO-sponsored Grotowski Year, 2008-2009, for which she programmed and produced events in 23 countries, and presently serves as a creative producer for the Grotowski Institute’s 2021 International Conference and Devised Theatre Festival. She is the founder of Curie City—an independent art space in Warsaw—a sanctuary and incubator of new ideas for artists of all ages.
