Looking to Rent or Sit

Wanted in New York United States of America

Listing #120004

Looking for a sublet in Manhattan/BK mid-June to mid-Sept 2021

Hi, I am a 37 year old Assistant Professor, currently working at UC Santa Cruz in CA. I will be in NYC with my fiance (who works in publishing in NYC) and his pup for the time listed above (we have some flexibility with dates).
I own my 2BR condo in Santa Cruz and would be happy to discuss a swap if that serendipity allows. We've lived in every housing situation imaginable and have been subletters ourselves so we know how to take care of people's things and spaces. We don't smoke and are happy to water your plants/fw mail if that's part of your wishes while you are away. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have other questions!

About
I am a professor in the Theater Arts Department in Santa Cruz and I will be on sabbatical in NYC August - Dec 2018 (dates are slightly flexible). Before moving to CA, I lived in the UK, Czech Republic, Argentina, and South Korea (and traveled extensively during my 20s). I own my condo in Santa Cruz and would also be interested in a swap (although my dates are a bit different as my condo is available mid-June 2018 to Dec 2018). I do not smoke, and in my mid-30s, and have no pets. My social network in NYC is already well established (I'm from the east coast originally) so I am looking forward to jumping back in when I arrive. I've lived in Fort Greene and UWS in the past. I work in the arts and in activism. I am a queer transracial adoptee (Korean American) and all my research revolves around the body, identity, and power. If you have other questions, please ask!
