Academic Family Looking for 3-month San Diego Visit

We're a dual-academic family with a 10-year-old child and a 20-lb hypoallergenic dog looking to spend January-March 2021 in San Diego. We'll be teaching/learning online so all we really need is good WiFi and some space to spread out. Easy access to natural beauty would be a lovely change from downtown Chicago. We have an apartment close to Lake Michigan and the "MagMile" if there's interest in a home exchange. We've done sabbaticals before and understand how it feels to rent a home to strangers. We'd treat your home as if it's our own. Very good with houseplants.
