No phone. Ainslie is a great suburb with nature reserve for bushwalking / running / riding close by. Close to city centre (walk, bike, bus). Ainslie local shops are friendly and a great place to meet up with friends. 4 km to Australian National University (can ride the whole way on bike paths); 7 km to University of Canberra (can also ride on bike paths); Australian Catholic University (1.5 km).

My partner and I stayed in the eco suite for 6 weeks during my sabbatical and absolutely loved it. In fact, we loved it so much that part way through we extended our stay. The suite is brand new, spotlessly clean, and has everything thing that you will ever need and more. Before arriving I was a bit worried that the suite would get too warm on hot days without AC but that was not the case at all. The temperature in the suite was always very comfortable and stayed cool even on very hot days. We also really enjoyed using the bikes provided by the hosts as they made the commute to ANU super easy. Meg and Mal, are also fantastic hosts. They are extremely kind and caring people who will make you feel at home. In short, if you have the opportunity I highly recommend that you stay in the eco suite. You will not regret it! Excellent A. This is a fabulous studio, I can't recommend it highly enough. Set in a quiet street in a central suburb, close to shops, this is a newly built designer studio that has been thoughtfully and tastefully decorated. The fittings, furniture and appliances are all top quality, and it's planned to catch the Canberra light. Overlooking a garden, the studio is private and tranquil. It's perfect for one or a couple.
