Country setting in between Duke in Durham and UNC in Chapel Hill

The house is on a cul de sac in a quiet neighborhood that is 2 minutes to the interchange of MLK and Rte 40 and less than 20 minutes to either Chapel Hill or Durham and both the Duke and UNC campuses and hospitals. Everything is close while you are in a peaceful setting on 2.5 acres. We purchased the home in September 2018 and have completely renovated it, updating every room in the house and purchasing new furnishings. The new kitchen has a Thermador gas cook top, Kitchenaid ovens and refrigerator, and Bosch dishwasher. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook gourmet meals. Baths have been updated as well.
The master suite is on the first floor and there is an additional half bath near the entrance. Two bedrooms, an office and full bath are on the second floor.
In addition to the main living room and dining room (pictures 4 - 6), there is an breakfast and sitting area off the kitchen (picture 8).
We will be in Boston during the rental period along with our two cats. Our daughter lives 7 minutes away, so she is available if there are issues. She has two children ages 1 and 4, so there are suitable toys, books and paraphernalia for children these ages.
We have an excellent cleaner who you could hire. She charges $125/week. We have a lawn service that takes care of the yard.
There is an 800 sq foot deck with outdoor furniture and a gas grill.
There is a 2 car attached garage.

This home is a gem. Peaceful, quiet, and well appointed and equipped, it was the perfect home for my family of four to stay for just under a month as we awaited the availability of our new home locally. The location is convenient to anywhere in the Durham/Chapel Hill area: Duke, UNC, shopping, Duke Forest nature trails, and easy access to I-40. The house has been beautifully renovated, bright and light with plenty of windows, so one can enjoy the comfortable and pretty indoors as well as the outdoor natural beauty of the large private lot. The kitchen is exceptionally nice, and the hosts were easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this property for anyone who needs all the comforts of home with hosts who pay attention to details and are attentive to renters’ needs.
