My cottage on Keuka Lake was set up as a writer's retreat, but has all the amenities for modern life - with a view! Depending on the season you have a view of gorgeous foliage, walking distance to vineyards and restaurants, or off-season peace and quiet. Regardless, you have great work space and plenty of outdoor options in the 1/2 acre yard or beyond on trails and quiet rural roads. This is not a party house, but it can also be a wonderful place for co-authors to gather around the fire pit or to bond while kayaking together.
