1BR in Great DC Neighborhood

We are long time Sabbatical Homes members with multiple great experiences renting out the main part of our DC Townhouse. Because of the pandemic, our 1 BR English basement apartment is now unexpectedly available through June 30, 2021. The apartment will be ready for occupancy on February 1 and is now partially furnished. We are open to furnishing it more fully, leaving it as is, or emptying it depending on the interests and duration of potential tenants. Ingleside Terrace is one of DC's greatest streets. Quite urban feeling within walking distance of good public transportation, shopping, and restaurants; yet Rock Creek Park is literally across the street. The apartment comes with a private parking space; you would share an outdoor sitting area. We could arrange to loan you a bicycle (or two). Photos available after initial conversation.

About Me
Both of my siblings are academics. I was the labor union official and the executive director of two different non-profit organizations. Both my husband and I are now retired and are making up for our previous workaholic lives. That has meant traveling a LOT. And doing so primarily through various house and pet sitting arrangements. In China, England, Italy, Mexico, and Spain. We are looking both for places to stay (preferably through an exchange or sitting arrangement) and/or for people to rent/exchange/sit in our 3 bedroom/2.5 bath urban townhouse across from the street from Rock Creek Park in Washington,DC.
