Beautiful, bright, quite and large apartment located on the 4° floor (with elevator) of an historical building (dated end of XIX century) just renovated(!), in the heart of Rome: Trastevere close to Gianicolo (Janiculum hill). 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 1 extra room (office) and 1 large living room with modern kitchen. Ideal for families. Very quiet, the apartment too has been recently and completely renovated by a famous Italian architect. Furnished and fully equipped. It is 180 square meters large and has a superb city view: apt and location are spectacular! Air-conditioning; independent heating. Big terrace on the roof of the building - with a superb, breathless city view (shown in one of the pictures) - which can be used by all co-owners. One block from Piazza San Cosimato, a fantastic daily farmers' market, and from the most typical Roman groceries. 10/15 minutes walk from: John Cabot University; the American University of Rome; the American Academy; the American Catholic University. 5 Km from Università Roma Tre and from Università La Sapienza; 3 Km from FAO. All guests have always been happy (and say pictures don’t fully represent the beauty of the apt..) and some of them came back. Trastevere, in the heart of Rome, is its most vivacious neighborhood and only 20 minutes walk (through narrow alleyways) from Piazza Farnese, Campo dè Fiori and Piazza Navona. "Trastevere is one of central Rome's most vivacious neighborhoods, an outdoor circus of red, ochre buildings and photogenic lanes" ; “just walking around its narrow alleyways is delightful.. at night all its trattorias, pizzeria, bars and cafes pepper its atmospheric lanes” (from “The Lonely Planet” travel guide). Walking distance to: Basilica di Santa Maria in Trastevere (one of Rome's most anchient churches), Villa Farnesina (with frescoes by Raffaello), Basilica di Santa Cecilia, Gianicolo with Bramante's Tempietto and Chiesa di San Pietro in Montorio (you can litterally touch it..from the roof terrace) where (according to the tradition) Saint Peter was crucified. You can walk through Ponte Sisto (crossing the river) to Piazza Farnese, Campo dè Fiori and Piazza Navona. You can walk to the wonderful huge public park, Villa Pamphili and to the enchanting smaller public park Villa Sciarra, for jogging, cycling or having a pic-nic.
