Cozy, well located flat in Paris

The appartment ist nicely located near Gare Montparnasse, but very calm. The house ist well kept and safe. We liked the whole area because it is "normal", not too touristic, a lot of cafes and restaurants within short walking distance. The appartment ist very practical and well equipped. It is a little dark because of the trees in front of the house, but on the other hand it does not get hot inside. Jim and his wife were very, very helpful and friendly. They made the stay most convinient for us. We stayed as an older couple for one month and really enjoyed it.

We spent a month in the studio and loved its location, especially once we learned how to avoid the less attractive areas around the train station. It is in a very secure building, and close to metros, shops, theaters, museums and gardens. It is filled with books and wonderful art, and has a small balcony.

We were able to cook most of our meals in the small but well-appointed kitchen, which even has a small table for morning coffee or lunch.

Jim communicated clearly, both before we arrived and through his well-organized notebook. A friend met us with the key, and she was also gracious and helpful.

We would be happy to stay again when we return to Paris.

The flat is beautifully decorated and maintained and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The large balcony is adorned with lovely plants and a table with chairs for lounging outside. The flat stays amazingly cool even on the hottest of summer days. The host and hostess are lovely people, very interesting and friendly, and helpful in every way. The building itself is very secure, and the surrounding area convenient to shops and markets. I highly recommend this flat for a peaceful retreat in Paris.

We enjoyed a wonderful month in this Paris apartment on a quiet street and with a balcony that surrounded us with flowers! It was a perfect location and matched the description posted.
