After years of renting my beloved second home in the south of France through various listing services, I can share one salient conclusion: Sabbatical Homes stands head and shoulders above the competition in the ease and convenience of its operations--and above all, in its civility. Competitors, including multi-national conglomerates with names like "Away from Home" seem to be run by cabals of MBAs conspiring to wring the last shekel from those who deal with them by extracting additional fees for every conceivable wrinkle on their services.
