When she created SabbaticalHomes.com in 2000, founder Nadege Conger envisioned the website as a way for scholars to connect, arrange affordable housing and find trustworthy tenants. Today, SabbaticalHomes.com is still run by the founder and a creative team of hard-working, enthusiastic and diverse individuals.

Sabbatical in Australia

I had recently accepted to do a sabbatical in Australia and needed to rent out our home for the year we would be away. Renting out our home for this time was the part I was most nervous about. I was very concerned with finding a suitable renter. After listing my home on SabbaticalHomes.com, I had several positive inquiries regarding my home. I was eventually able to come to an agreement with another professor for the exact same time frame.

I couldn't have asked for anything better. Going on sabbatical is a unique opportunity and SabbaticalHomes.com helped me to access people in a similar situation as me. Awesome.
