It's easy to walk to Central Park and all of the Fifth Ave museums, as well as the East River, Carl Schurz Park, and Asphalt Green pool and gym. There is also a spectacular rooftop pool and gym next door in a high-rise apartment building that sells month-to-month memberships to people in the neighborhood.
