Short-term rental available for 1 month or more from March 12 until May 12 2024. The dates are flexible but we want someone to stay at least 1 month and the rate listed is a monthly. We are out of state for sabbatical research away from home and ideally would like to host an academic family who are coming for sabbatical to Chicago. University of Chicago and many other universities are close. Several people inquired about longer stays, but unfortunately we cannot extend. The price is lower than our mortgage to make it affordable for fellow academics and to find our perfect guest/s. We are Professors leaving for research and looking for someone to take care of our place like their own. We seek connections to professors from other countries and other states for future sabbatical exchange and potential academic collaboration. Our condo has all modern features, central air, central humidifier, air purifiers, fireplace, skylights. The building was designed by an award-winning architect Booth Hansen. Great opportunity for a sabbatical/visiting professor/ researcher family. Easy commute to several different universities (UIC, Loyola, DePaul, Roosevelt, Northern Illinois, North Park). Others accessible by transit are Northwestern, U of Chicago. Great opportunity to spend holidays and visit Chicago architecture, museums, exhibitions and everything Chicago has to offer.
