It is situated above the garage and has a south and west exposure sunlit by two French doors overlooking the garden, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is an ideal location for study and work as it does not share walls with other living spaces. The structure has been completely restored with a modern tiled bathroom with a large shower, sink, commode and bidet. There is a double bed, a large wardrobe, two comfortable upholstered chairs, a desk, a tv, and a small table and chairs. A small kitchen has a two-burner cooktop, a small refrigerator and a toaster oven, as well as an electric kettle. Your own washing machine is a few steps from the apartment on the ground floor. Utilities include air conditioning, heating, and high-speed internet. The studio is enriched by ancient high ceilings with wooden beams and terracotta floors. The location is well situated for public transport. It is just a 5-minute walk, about 150 steps down the hill, to the 913 bus line, which will whisk you into the heart of Rome in about 30 minutes : Via del Corso, Piazza di Spagna, Piazza Barberini. A 14-minute walk will take you to the Cipro Metro Line A which takes you to Termini station in 10 minutes. For trips further afield the Appiano Proba Petronia train stain is a quick ten minute walk that connects to the Vaticano, Trastevere, and Ostiense station providing a convenient connection to the airport of Fiumicino. Two train stops from home you have the Policlinico Gemelli University Hospital, Catholic University of the Sacred Heart. The Olympic Stadium, where normally international interest sporting events and major concerts take place can be easily reached by bus or by feet. A 15-minute bus ride brings you to the Monte Mario nature reserve for hiking or strolling. If you want to move on foot in the neighborhood, just down the steps are trattorias, shops, cafes, and gelato all located within a ten-minute walk. In the other direction an 8-minute stroll through your neighborhood of imposing villas and trees leads you to the Piazzale Socrate with an overlook to view the city of Rome and a spectacular image of the dome of St. Peters. Ten minutes brings you to the Rome Cavalieri Waldorf Astoria Hotel and in 15-minutes you can arrive at one of the largest and most characteristic markets of Rome, the Triumphal Market, to purchase local products, fruits and vegetables. Continue on another 20 minutes and you will be at St. Peters in the Vatican City, the most beautiful church in the world!
