Our fully furnished home is contemporary and cozy . The backyard is unusually large. Our place is very close to West Philly universities, the 34 trolley, Mariposa food co-op and other helpful amenities. The house features three bedrooms: one has a queen bed, the second currently has bunk beds (could be rearranged), the third bedroom is currently set up as an office, but could easily be used as a bedroom. There are two bathrooms: one with just a shower (1st floor) and the other has a tub with jets and shower. In addition to living room, dining room, and kitchen on the first floor, there is a family room/den on the second floor. Washer and dryer are in the basement. Everything in the house (kitchen, bathrooms, floors) was recently renovated. We also own the house next door (which is rented as two apartments) and we've taken over the next-door yard, so the backyard is double width and has plenty of room (still not suburban size yard, but big for the city). We installed fans and a heater above the dining table and chairs on the patio. The backyard is a great place for kids to play and for outdoor movies. Our home is 2-3 blocks from Mariposa food co-op, Dock Street, Bookers, the Gold Standard, Cedar Park, and walkable to many other restaurants, cafes, and parks.
