This home is located in the tree-laden and friendly Shaw Estates Neighborhood of East Lansing. It is an ideal fit for incoming professors or postdocs wanting to learn about the area before buying. The home sits on a street that is not a thru street so there is very little traffic. Further, the house is located within a 0.5 mile walk of the Glencairn Elementary School. Recent major renovations include the installation of a large newly remodeled and expanded kitchen with two sinks, granite countertops, custom cabinets, and double ovens. The backyard has a large patio with fire pit, a play structure, raised bed gardens, and lots of space. The house has a large master bedroom and bathroom with a expansive walk-in closet. The downstairs has hardwood floors and the upstairs is carpeted. There is an attached two-car garage, which is helpful for parking in the winter.
