New 2-bedroom cottage was designed by Chris, the architect in our family. It feels larger than its square footage due to high ceilings and lots of light. The living room has floor-to-ceiling windows looking out on the garden. Both bedrooms have queen-size mattresses, one is in a loft. The cottage is net zero energy with all electric appliances and heating/air conditioning. The house has wireless DSL connection, and a front-load washer/dryer. There is a large patio for hanging out in the garden.Backyard has new 2 BR cottage and lots of plantings, with flowers, mature lemon, and new plum, apple, and pluot trees. Good-sized patio for hanging around outdoors. We are friendly and love Berkeley, happy to share its treasures (and faults) with you.
