Old West Side Charm! 2 bed 1 bath, flexible dates, close to A2 and UofM

Welcome to our home! This house has been in our family for about 30 years. Its an original kit home, located in Ann Arbor's Old West Side. The home is a tri-level build with 2 bedrooms, and 1 bathroom with a beautiful yard and patio. The main level features a living room, with a fully functional fireplace, and the kitchen and dining area. Our kitchen is fully stocked and you are welcome to use the items we have available! There is a full-sized dishwasher. The screened patio door leads to the backyard, where you can find our lovely 100 year old magnolia tree and plenty of yard space to relax. On the second floor, you'll find two bedrooms (one queen bed, one full bed), and the bathroom (with shower and bath). The second and smaller bedroom features bookcase ladder access to a lofted space that is currently unfurnished. The basement boasts a large finished space, equipped with a queen pull-out couch and a desk (comes with a second screen and printer!) for your guests and work from home needs. Part of the basement is unfinished and provides access to an area where we store some of our belongings, and large appliances, such as our washer and dryer. We have our own private driveway which can easily fit multiple cars, and street parking is usually not a problem (unless its a football Saturday in the Fall). Our neighbors are amazing and there is a strong sense of community. If you happen to be here for a Michigan football game, you will see a whole other side of Ann Arbor. Michigan Stadium is within walking distance and so are fun local cafes like Drip House and Jefferson Market. Two local parks are within a few minutes, with ample outdoor space and playgrounds. The bus route, on Pauline, offers public transit option to downtown and campus, however, it is walkable/bikeable (especially with the new bike lanes). We love this home and are happy to share our space with those visiting Ann Arbor. We are flexible with dates given that we live out of state, but make frequent trips back home. Generally, we prefer rentals that are at least 2 weeks, but are less than 3 months. But please reach out to see if we can accommodate you! Please note that dogs are welcome! We are a dog family and always travel with our pets. Therefore, we have opened our home to your pet. However, that we do not allow more than 1-2 dogs to stay at a time, and dogs should be well-behaved and supervised. Please do not leave your pet unattended in our home if they are likely to cause damage. No dogs are allowed on our furniture or the beds. Additional pet fees will apply if you bring your pet, and fines may be imposed for extra cleaning and/or damage.
