Light, Quiet, Furnished In-town Adam's Morgan Apartment

Lovely two bedroom apartment. One bedroom is now set up as an office -- although easy to convert into a bedroom. I tend to work in the living room, as it has a nice big window and is light and quiet. The street is relatively quite (slow moving residential side street). There is a grade school on the block and the playground abuts the back of the house -- after school and on the weekends the schoolyard is closed, so the back is silent at night. In the day I rarely hear the children playing -- that is from the master bedroom in back. They are unobtrusive and cannot be heard at all from anywhere else in the apartment. There is a gas Grill on the back porch -- and two chairs and a small table to boot! My upstairs and downstairs neighbors are very quiet -- I would not know the downstairs neighbor existed, as she is so quiet; upstairs I hear occasional footsteps . The neighborhood is great as you can easily walk to the Adams Morgan or over to Mount Pleasant where there are plenty of restaurants. There is a supermarket one block away (Harris Teeter) and a Safeway and CVS and Ace Hardware just a few blocks away. In the hallway from the living/dining/kitchen area to the bedrooms you will find a second bathroom and the washer and dryer. The house is fully furnished and has dishes and all the cookware you could ever want -- fully equipped! I will, of course, empty the dresser and master bedroom closets, clear surfaces and leave ample empty bookshelves for your use. I will use one closet in the house to store my private things. All I ask is that the person occupying the apartment use all of the place -- including cookware and dishes -- with care they would take were it their own place. What more could you want! :) I enjoy living here. I think you will too.
