We invite you to stay in our bright, quiet and fully equipped 3 storey home (+ basement charming guest suite) located in the heart of midtown Toronto. It's our family-friendly and comfortable house with spacious natural light-filled rooms and high ceilings throughout the house. Up to 7 people can be accommodated. Our wide detached house has a wooden deck overlooking our fenced backyard. A designated parking spot will be conveniently available for you. This house is a gem for the spacious and brightly lit rooms but also for its unique location: it sits steps from the Casa Loma castle and it's located right across the street from the Wychwood Barns Park, a city-wide renowned community hub that offers a large green area for free play, a great playground with a water play area that kids love, slides and swings, ping-pong, picnic tables, beach volley field, an active children’s theatre and art/music programs for kids and various cultural events. The Wychwood Barns is an industrial archeology site: it’s a century-old streetcar facility that was renovated and transformed into an artistic and cultural hub, featuring artists' studios and residences and hosting cultural, environmental, artistic events. Every Saturday the Barns proudly house the city's best Farmers' Market, where local farmers and bakers sell their organic food like meat, fish, produce, fruit, cheese, eggs, pastries, wine... The lively Wychwood Park neighbourhood offers a wide array of ethnic elegant restaurants: Italian Pizzerias, Middle Eastern, Mexican, Thai, Japanese, French restaurants and cafes, delis, bakeries and a fun variety of stores. St Clair West subway station (a 7 minute walk from our home) is conveniently located 3 subway stops from the UofT St George Campus. The house is located steps to excellent supermarkets, tennis courts, swimming pools, several playgrounds and Cedarvale Park which is perfect for runners, for strolling around and for picnics.  The house ground floor boasts large windows that overlook both the grassy hills of the park in the front and the magnificent Norway maple in our backyard. The living and dining room is open concept and boasts high ceiling with pot lights and can seat up to 10. The large kitchen is complete with an island and smoothie maker, espresso machine, oven with plate warmer, microwave, gas stovetop. A double glass door leads to the wooden deck with table and chairs that is romantically decorated with garden lights and that overlooks exuberant greenery and a gorgeous lilac tree. On the second floor the master bedroom has floor-to-ceiling windows with pull down curtains and a glass door with screen that opens on a private balcony. Private bathroom with hot tub, shower and double sink with skylight. On the same floor, a bathroom with shower and two single bedrooms that overlook the romantic park in the front of the house. The third floor accomodates an ensuite bedroom with day bed that can conveniently turn into a double bed. Big large windows overlook the backyard majestic tree and a dormer window looks out on the trees in the park. Private washroom with shower. The walk out basement contains a charming guest suite that has its own independent entrance and bathroom, with fantastic new floor heating across the whole suite that includes a bedroom, office space and bathroom. The basement houses the laundry room with large washer and dryer. This floor boasts huge windows and a private walk out access to the backyard. Quiet and spacious, the house is comfortably furnished, with hardwood floor throughout the house. On top of air conditioning, incorporated in all 4 bedrooms are ceiling fans with choice of 3 speeds. WiFi throughout the house makes the home perfectly fitting for remote working. Washing machine, washer and dryer are in the house at no extra charge. No pets and no smoking inside the house please.
