There are 3 bedrooms, including a spacious master bedroom with a king-sized bed, and two bedrooms with twin beds. There is also a sunroom office with a large desk and computer screen/camera that can be attached to any laptop. The basement is partially-finished and has a futon for guests. The property has a private, fenced-in backyard with a beautiful garden and a wooded area immediately behind the house for extra privacy. The house is in a great location and is: - 12 mins from the center of Northampton (15 minutes from Smith College), 12 minutes from South Hadley (Mt. Holyoke College), and 25 mins from Amherst (UMass, Amherst & Hampshire Colleges). - 3 miles from an entrance to Mt. Tom State Park, which has dozens of hiking/running trials with stunning vistas of the Valley and the Berkshires - 1.75 miles from Whiting Reservoir, which is at the base of Mt. Tom and has a 3-mile pedestrian path around it that is well-maintained year-round - 0.5 miles from a supermarket (Stop N Shop) - 30 minutes from the Hartford Airport We are looking for someone (could be an individual, couple or family) who will take good care of the house while we are away for the year.
