Enjoy living in the Village of Shorewood Hills, a friendly neighborhood located on the near west side of Madison. Our home is on a quiet tree-lined street and has a spacious, sunny backyard with a private patio. Walk to Shorewood Hills Elementary School (5 min.), the UW medical campus (10 min.), shops (10 min.) and public transportation (5 min.) A two-mile walk or bike ride along a lakeshore path will take you to the heart of the University of Wisconsin main campus. The Epic campus is an easy drive (25 min.) Our house is comfortably furnished and has abundant natural light from well-placed skylights and windows throughout. The main level has a living room, kitchen, dining room, master suite (queen bed, full bath), bedroom (two twin beds), hall bathroom, and a mother-in-law suite (full bed, three-quarters bath) that can also be used as a family room and/or an office area. A piano and acoustic guitar are available for music-making. There is also a finished basement with a TV viewing area, ping-pong table, exercise equipment (rowing machine, stationary bicycle), sleeper sofa, bathroom, and laundry area. Our offered rental period (December 2024 to May 2025) coincides with the UW's spring semester and would be well-suited for visiting faculty or researchers. The start and end dates are flexible.
