Quiet, private, cozy 6 room condo has 1 king bedroom, an office and an exercise room. This is the second time I have rented my home for the winter months, Jan-April 15. From the well cared for landscape to the top floor skylight entrance. Visitors are buzzed up from the main entrance. From the condo entrance you face a fully furnished office with skylight and the bright, minimalist but very cozy living room with balcony. The living/dining room has leather couch and easy chair, a recliner, a very nice Surya area rug, a 43” Samsung Frame TV that looks like a picture on the wall. The TV has two modes, Art and TV. The dining table can seat 4-6. The kitchen counter can seat 2. There are Google Nest speakers and lights in all rooms except kitchen and bathroom. You can say “Hey Google turn on the lights” or “Hey Google, play jazz on all speakers” for one or all rooms. There is a brand new high quality vacuum in the office closet. The kitchen is fully outfitted with all the basics including: coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster oven, blender, Instapot, crockpot, electric stove and oven, stainless refrigerator. There is no dishwasher or garbage disposal. Good counter and cabinet space and new smart under cabinet lights over the counter. Fridge and cupboards are stocked with basic non perishables and condiments, which you are welcome to use but asked to replace. The kitchen has a ceiling fan with lights, sink light, counter lights and several strings of mood lights. The bathroom has new towels, rugs and shower curtain. There is a bathtub and shower. The guest bedroom is configured as a yoga and exercise room. The exercise room has an oversized yoga mat, gym floor mats, a rebounder/mini trampoline, a stepper, an exercise ball, a stepper and a range of dumbbells. Also, workout posters on the walls and a Nest speaker. The master bedroom has all new furniture including king size bed, a matching bedroom set with chest, dresser and side tables and wall art. There is a 55” Samsung QLED TV positioned to watch from bed and another Google nest speaker. The TV has a soundbar and subwoofer. The master bedroom is 11x17, has a double sliding door closet and the new Samsung washer and dryer in a second closet. The parking lot is maintained and plowed by the condo mgmt. There are no assigned spaces but there are always open spaces in both lots, to north and south. There is a snow shovel in the closet. I am asking for first months rent and an equal security deposit. The 1st month rent deposit is due when you sign the lease and the security deposit before you move in. If you sign the lease and decide not to move in you will forfeit deposit. The security deposit is refundable to you after inspection when you move out unless there is damage repairs needed, higher than budget ($100/mo) electric or charges accrued from purchase of movies on TV. Both TVs have a variety of paid for streaming services you may use (Netflix, Prime, Disney, Apple TV, YouTube, Hulu, Samsung TV plus …. You can also add your own streaming services. These are free to use with the rent unless you make purchases. There are two parks on Lake Mendota within a 5-7 minute walk. Both great locations to view the sunset or to walk or be by the lake. There is a great Mediterranean restaurant within 7 min walk. Pretty much everyplace to eat or drink or shop and all the businesses on the Isthmus are within 5 mins by car, 10 minutes by bike or 30 minutes walking. I try to walk an hour every day and this is perfect for me. The nicest route to the Williamson St / Isthmus corridor is along the Yahara River the connects Lake Mendota to Lake Monona. If you paddle you can put in within a 5 minute walk and you can store your kayak/canoe or SUP at Tenney or Burrows park. The UW Madison campus is 10 minutes by car, 20 minutes by bike and 30 minutes by bus. There are bus stops within a 5-10 walk.
