Description

The In-law unit of our house is very comfortable for a single person, a couple or a couple with one child and even a pet. It is nestled in the hills, part of the Piedmont Pines neighborhood of Oakland also called Montclair. It is very woodsy and animal friendly with many deers, squirrels, and turkeys roaming around, and many varieties of birds. Montclair Village with stores and restaurants is one mile away from the house but you still need a car to access it comfortably and we provide a parking place in our driveway next to the private gate leading to the apartment. A small patio is also available next to the front door. Our large backyard going up in the hills is a good place for dogs to play with our 5-year old mixed breed dog named Freddy and our street provides vistas on the entire Bay Area with amazing sunsets almost year round. Downtown Oakland and Berkeley are about 20 minutes away and downtown San Francisco around 35 minutes away, so the location provides immediate access to nature as well as proximity to 3 major cities.
